copied from trucksimfans so the credit goes there Posted for community help purposes. Tutorial created by: Topdog I highly recommend you do not use audacity. For weeks now I've been getting numerous e-mails, pms, ims, and answering posts on the trucksims forum all relating to "why won't my songs play in AA?" and they all say they used audacity. audacity only works on a few systems when your converting to ogg. DB Poweramp uses a totally different ogg converter codec AND it's the one SCS used to converet all there files. www.dbpoweramp.com go there & get the music converter. then go to: www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm and get the ogg vorbis codec. now install them all in the default manner. i.e. when installing either dbpoweramp or the codec leave all the options as t hey are. once you have installed both the codec and dbpoweramp do this: right click on the file that you want to convert to ogg. in the window that comes up click "convert to" then click "ogg". now first thing make sure you set the bitrate slider to at least 128 (I recommend 256 but your filesize will be larger this way). a bitrate of anything less sounds like it's playing through a tin can. lastly move the newly converted ogg file into the my documents\18WoS Across America\music folder.
